Georgia Real Estate Licensing Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a high school graduate or the holder of a Certificate of equivalency
- Successfully complete a 75-hour Salesperson Prelicense course offered by an approved school such as The Georgia Training Center.
- Stand and pass a state real estate examination
Georgia Real Estate Appraiser Licensing Requirements
- Be at least 18 to be licensed as an Appraiser
- Be a high school graduate or the holder of a Certificate of equivalency
- Must complete a 90 classroom hour curriculum approved by the Board that includes 15 hours education in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
- Must obtain and send to the Georgia Real Estate Commission, prior to receiving a real estate license, a copy of the Applicant's Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC) report, also known as a criminal history.
- Apply for a registration through the Georgia Real Estate Commission.
